welcome to ALITTLEBOOK.com, maria’s line of kids books, greeting cards and announcements, art prints and canvases. colors can energize us (yellow), calm us down (blue) or make us aggressive (red)! they can make us feel romantic (pink) or comfort us (green). we are all affected emotionally by colors. and kids even more so than grown-ups! this sparked the idea for ALITTLEBOOK.com, a line of books, greeting cards, announcements, art prints and paintings that link colors to feelings in maria’s simple, playful style.
BLOOM has a pink personality. she is expressive, romantic and even a little theatrical. she loves singing, dancing and flowers, and when she sees a butterly, a “flying flower”, she falls head over hoofs in love.
	SPLASH is blue. he wakes up on the wrong side of the iceberg. he doesn’t feel like playing. he doesn’t feel like doing anything. until he discovers a bright spot on the horizon and bounces back.
PEEP is a little yellow fellow. he is happy-go-lucky and symbolizes the carefree spirit of yellow. when he has to jump off a high curb, he freezes, it’s too high! but with a little encouragement, PEEP decides to take a leap and overcomes his fear.
